Group Analysis
Group analysis is the natural interaction of people as socials beings solving problems together.
A meeting where all have an equal voice to reflect together.
A blend of psychoanalysis, systems theory and sociology used for therapy, for supervision, and for helping staff groups function better.
Finding meaning through ongoing conversation.
An opportunity to understand groups and how they function by being part of one.
Therapy groups have up to eight members and meet once or twice a week. This accepted method of psychotherapy can help people with anxiety, depression, stress, feeling of being an outsider or difficulties with life in general.
We are shaped by our past and present relationships. In an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality, we can use the relationships in a carefully constituted group to reshape ourselves and bring about lasting change.
In this way, group therapy offers the additional dimension of other group members as well as the therapist. A minimum period of one year in a group is recommended.
